Audrina Patridge an angel? Hills fans might think it’s a bit of a stretch, but the reality TV star is donning her wings – and a sexy white bikini! – in a new campaign for PETA, revealed first on PEOPLE.

On a billboard set to be unveiled Wednesday on L.A.’s Beverly Boulevard, Patridge poses in the sexy angel outfit with her rescued dog, Speedy Gonzalez, next to the line, “Be an Angel for Animals-Always Adopt, Never Buy.”

When exactly did PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) become the go-to group for well-done soft-core porn? They even get into the kinky stuff with vegetables and animals.

It got us thinking, if Audrina’s such a good rescue-dog angel lady, why isn’t she swooping in there to save that poor pooch? No dog should have to endure such humiliation.

Even its face looks pretty fed up with this nonsense. But sometimes, you just have to sit and pose between Paris’ legs, help her sell some clothes, so maybe she’ll finally get that flat-screen TV for the doggie mansion.

In a statement released by PETA, Patridge says, “Each year, 6 to 8 million unwanted dogs and cats are turned in to shelters, and half are killed because there aren’t enough good homes. The solution is as easy as ABC – animal birth control. Always spay and neuter, and never buy from a pet store or a breeder.”

Television stars always fear being typecast in the role that made them famous. Now as Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston turns 40 on Wednesday, she is still trying to shake off the girl-next-door appeal that her role as Rachel Green in Friends cemented.

With her most recent hits Marley And Me and He is Just Not That Into You, Jennifer Aniston manages to distance herself a bit from the Rachel persona, but she will have to try harder.

She was actually asked to audition for the part of Monical Gellar, the cleanliness freak in the popular sitcom, but the part went instead to Courtney Cox. Jennifer Aniston then ended up playing Rachel, for which Cox was the original choice.

Even getting the role of Rachel was all luck for Jennifer  Aniston. She was at that time involved with a show called Muddling Through and got to audition for Friends only because the other serial was shelved.

Before Friends happened, Jennifer Aniston had to work as a waitress, telemarketer selling apartments, a messenger and a receptionist.

But Friends changed all that. She won several awards for her performance and for the past decade or so Jennifer Aniston has used the platform created by the hit show to hoist herself into movies.

The fame of the TV show bordered on insanity at times. Her haircut was widely copied and she along with her co-stars could actually ask a cool $1 million for each episode. It was also on the show that she met her future husband Brad Pitt when he made a guest appearance. The two tied the knot in July 2000.

The only real notable role she played near the Friends fame era was in small independent film The Good Girl (2002). There were hopes that she would capitalise on this fame, but it was not quite so. She did, however, have an achievement of sorts.

In 2003, Forbes released their global celebrity list and their shock number one was Jennifer Aniston. This was despite the fact that she had not made much money and was not even that famous. She was also a constant subject for tabloids and celebrity magazines.

But soon her life took a turn for the worse. Though she scored hits with the comedy Along Came Polly, her personal life was coming apart. There were rumours that her husband Brad Pitt was having an affair with his Mr. And Mrs. Smith co-star Angelina Jolie. Allegations also swirled that Aniston had put her career before having children.

The couple were divorced in 2005. Pitt now has a family with Jolie, but Jennifer Aniston has dated a string of men, including co-stars, like Vincent Cassel, Vince Vaughn and more recently musician John Mayer.

Jennifer Aniston had much later tried clarifying the ugly marriage. “I’ve never in my life said I don’t want to have children. I did and I do and I will!” she was quoted as saying.

She tried being dignified with Pitt when rumours about the Jolie affair were everywhere. She had said: “I choose to believe my husband. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised by anything, but I would much rather choose to believe him.”

The actress is now on a comeback of sorts with Marley and Me and “He’s Just Not That Into You. And as she closes off another decade in her life, here’s hoping she will become the true actress.

Teen Idol Miley Cyrus traded her Porsche for a…black Toyota Prius. According to Miley cyrus, she got rid of the Porsche because “I didn’t like it ’cause it was bad for the environment, and it was too big”. I always knew the Prius was a girls car.

Her dad then bought her a black Prius to make up for the loss. And environment conscious Miley Cyrus loves it! She says she likes the Prius better because it’s “good for the environment, and it’s adorable!” Yay! Are you kidding me? And Miley Cyrus is on a roll with her black Prius.

She’s going to pimp that ride no end. First on the list? Hello Kitty floor mats (oh God!). Oh well, to each their own, let’s give it up for Miley Cyrus’s black prius.

I have to admit that I’m not the world’s biggest Miley Cyrus fan. I thought Hanna Montana was somewhere just north of Billings.

About as close as I get is having once seen Billy Ray Cyrus perform at the Plant City Strawberry Festival. He seemed like a good guy to me.

I am 32-or-so-years too old to be affected by Miley Mania, but for those who care, Miley’s getting new wheels. Those willing to plunk down the $29.95 for a membership in the Mileyworld fan club were the first to know.

Miley Cyrus has made the move from her black hand-me-down Porsche Cayenne (formerly Mom’s) to a snazzy black Toyota Prius purchased for her by Billy Ray. It may just be a coincidence that Miley Cyrus has a new song coming out with a strong anti-global warming theme. Not cool to roll in a Porsche Cayenne to a concert singing green anthems, even if Porsche is a pretty darn green car company, it’s still an SUV.

I am not really a fan of the Toyota Prius, but there is one eco-friendly vehicle that would be an exotic car driving experience: the Aptera. Not the yogurt, that’s Aptiva.

I would guess the Toyota Prius gets about 40 MPG, the Aptera will be a 300 MPG car and looks like it might actually be fun to drive down to the market to get some organic vegetables and tofu.

Taking a deep breath, Jennifer Hudson performed the National Anthem for the super bowl audience at the stadium, with super bowl guests respectfully becoming very quiet just prior to the performance, so much so that “you could hear a pin drop” according to television news teams covering the game.

Apparently not too many people know that featured performers at the Super Bowl submit pre-recorded song tracks to the NFL prior to performing at the super bowl a week prior to the big game. Did Jennifer Hudson lip sync? Yes she did, and so did Faith Hill who performed America the Beautiful.

Some people just can’t give Jennifer Hudson a break. The singer, whose mother, brother and nephew were murdered last year, came out of seclusion to sing at last night’s Super Bowl, and now people are making a big deal out of the fact that she was lip-syncing.

Although entertainers can perform live, the NFL pre-game show producer, Rickey Minor, admitted that Jennifer Hudson and Faith Hill, who sang “America the Beautiful” before the national anthem, used the tracks they provided to the NFL a week before the game.

Jennifer Hudson deserves the utmost respect, for it was definitely a challenge for the singer to take stage. As her brother-in-law faces charges for the brutal killings of her family members, Jennifer Hudson is slowly trying to transition herself back in to the public spotlight. And that’s not easy, especially when media criticism abounds.

“This was such an important performance, because it’s the first time everyone has seen Jennifer,” producer Minor said to the Associated Press. “But she’s in such a great place, with such great spirits, and time can heal her wounds. She’s on fire right now and totally grounded.”

Let’s try to not crush Hudson’s spirits, OK? She’s also scheduled to perform at the Grammy Awards on February 8 — where she is nominated for four awards, including Best R&B album.

Jennifer Hudson sings Super Bowl National Anthem

After having been in seclusion since the October 2008 murders of her mother, brother, and nephew, Jennifer Hudson made her return to performing Sunday with a powerful rendition of the National Anthem to open Super Bowl XLIII (see video below).

After taking a deep breath, Jennifer launched into the song with no hesitation whatsoever, giving it a jazzy/gospel style that is totally her own. She soared on the high notes and dug into the song like she owned it. It was a stunning return to public life for a performer who has endured so much in recent months.

Jennifer’s comeback will continue February 8 with a performance at the Grammy Awards. She is nominated for four awards for her self-titled debut CD. She is also set to perform on February 6 at the Recording Academy’s MusiCares Person of the Year gala honoring Neil Diamond.

Last week, Jennifer concluded filming the video for “If This Isn’t Love,” the second single from her album.

Jennifer Hudson’s Super Bowl Performance: Her First Since Her Mother, Brother Were Killed

One was a 12-minute party, the other a 2-minute proclamation. Bruce Springsteen and Jennifer Hudson used the Super Bowl stage for two very different performances Sunday night: he proved he’s still The Boss with an electric halftime show, while Hudson showed she’s ready to return to the spotlight after the slayings of three family members.

Springsteen and his E Street Band had turned down numerous invitations to play the halftime show, declining the high-profile time slot because it was a bit beneath them.

Then the show slowly started to draw legitimate acts _ U2, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, to name a few _ and Springsteen changed his view of performing in the middle of a football game.

He promised a 12-minute party, and more than delivered by charming the estimated 100 million television viewers with his opening line: “I want you to put the chicken fingers down and turn your television all the way up.”

Springsteen then threw himself into his four-song set, a highly anticipated series of songs that had Las Vegas oddsmakers taking bets on which tunes he’d select. He opened with “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out,” and worked in one of his trademark across-the-stage knee slides.

The move wasn’t without risk: He slid into one of the on-stage cameras, and seemed to be winded when he transitioned into “Born to Run.”

Next up was his newest piece, “Working on a Dream,” which was backed by a choir. He then closed out with a playful version of “Glory Days” that fittingly altered the lyrics to fit the occasion: Springsteen’s old high school buddy was “a big football player” instead of “baseball,” and threw a “Hail Mary” instead of a “speed ball.”

He and guitarist Steven Van Zandt then toyed with the crowd as the show came to an end, looking at their watches as the clock wound down. Worried they were about to hit “penalty time,” (a referee even raced out and threw a yellow flag), they closed it out right on time.

Sam Ronson has reportedly proposed to girlfriend Lindsay Lohan. The National Enquirer claims the DJ’s proposal was an effort to end their constant arguments and “start fresh as a married couple.”

The couple has not commented on the reports.

Samantha Ronson has asked Lindsay Lohan to marry her in a bid to put their past arguments behind them, a new report claims.

According to the National Enquirer, the couple – who came to blows in Miami over New Year’s in a series of bizarre incidents – recently split after fighting about money, Sam’s ex-girlfriends and their radically different families.

And now the pair have reconciled, Ronson is keen to make their relationship official – and has proposed to the Mean Girls star.

Angelina Jolie and her partner Brad Pitt are reportedly looking to double up with another set of twins.

Hollywood’s hottest couple are said to be working on extending their brood only six months after Angelina gave birth to Vivienne and Knox.

A source tells Star, “Angelina is taking prenatal vitamins, visiting her ob-gyn, undergoing secret fertility treatments and gearing up for another set of twins.

“Angie’s doctors told her that she has a strong chance of conceiving twins if she does it within two years after having her first pair.”

The source adds, “She’s been seeing a fertility doctor regularly. She and Brad are monitoring when she’s fertile.

“And they’re trying really hard in the bedroom!”
